We're known as N.E.S.S. (North East Spanking Society), and we're the oldest and most respected spanking-focused group in New England and beyond. We began back in 1991 with only six members and have grown since then. Our membership now stands at over 60, consisting of couples and singles, and draws from New England, Middle Atlantic, and Southeastern US, plus Canada. Some of us are professionals – receptionists, attorneys, writers, nurses, engineers, social workers, teachers, computer programmers, contractors, psychologists, physicians, and retailers. Others are truck drivers, waitresses, construction workers, clerks, and secretaries. Just your typical homogenous American gathering, one in which you'll feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.

We host one major weekend–long party each year (usually in November), with an attendance of between 25–50, and we enjoy a spanking good time with games, field trips, role–playing, skits, demonstrations, great food, prizes, and conversation. Additionally we host several mini–parties in the summer, and sponsor a number of privately hosted events.

We offer one of the safest environments around. There's absolutely no pressure to do anything you don't want to do, and you're welcome to simply come and learn about how to enjoy your favorite "indoor sport" with others who share the same interests and understanding. As one member phrased it, "It's nice to be in a group of like–minded people, where you don't have to explain what you do or how you feel – they already know and understand."

Annual membership dues are $15⁄couple or single. Registration for the November Weekend Party is currently $89⁄couple ($45/single) and includes admission to all activities, two light evening buffets, two Continental buffet breakfasts, and a souvenir. Other events are priced separately (usually $5–25⁄person).

Although we began as a couples-oriented group, we now accept selective singles so long as we can maintain a relatively even male-female ratio.
